திரு.அ.யோகராஜா (பழைய மாணவர்- பிரான்ஸ்) அவர்கள் 02.07.2010 அன்று எமது
கல்லூரிக்கு வருகை தந்து ஒழுங்காக பாடசாலை வரும் மாணவர்களுக்கும், க.பொ.த
சாதாரணதர பரீட்சையில் சிறந்த பெறுபேறு பெற்ற மாணவருக்கும் பணப் பரிசிலை
அன்பளிப்பாக வழங்கியுள்ளார். அத்துடன் அவர் கல்லூரிக் கீதத்தினை இசையுடன்
இசைத்து மாணவர்களைப் பரவசப்படுத்தினார்.

Front gate and water tank.
It is quite impossible for us to put up the
front gate at the present position. We find lot of inconvenience, as it
comes very closer to the front building due to the widening of the road, as
such vehicles could not be able to come in and go out. We have to look
before leap. It can be done only after the demarcation made by the RDA, and
once the new two story building in over to an extent, at least up to the 1st
floor. Any how the front gate with the name of our college and the emblem
will be ready by 03.04.2011, the centenary day and the opening day of the
new two story building.
New two story building
A new two story building is coming up in
place of the old prayer hall at a cost of Rs. 20 million, sponsored solely
by Mr.K.Tharmakulasingam of London. The old prayer hall together with water
tank was demolished during the first week of June. A new water tank will be
put up along with the new building until, such time a temporary water supply
is provided by a fiber glass container.
Centenary day and
celebrations
The centenary day falls on 03.04.2011. it is
planed in a big way to celebrate our college centenary day. We hope to have
it for three days. Major important event of this day is the publication of a
Souvenir to mark this occasion. In this regard we seek your, advice,
assistance and contributions by way of physical and financial. We expect
valuable articles and unforgetable memories in short (150 words) of your
school times for publication in the 400 pages Souvenir, which costs about
Rs.500, 000/= , please bring this good news to almost all the old students
at your end, at large over mass media. Please give high priority to this
matter and be in touch with us. For this purpose a website was opened and
29.04.2010 by Mr.K.Tharmakulasingam in his own expenses. You may open this

Our current requirement
1. We
are running short of computers. The outdated and used computers in use are
going out of order very frequently and the money spent for repairs are utter
wastage. These are like white elephants for us. We there fore request you to
make arrangements to provide us at least three brand new computers and five
computer tables and chairs to fulfill our urgent requirement.
2. To
uplift the English standard as it was in forties and fifties, it is proposed
to call for highly qualified English tutors from out side, the expected cost
is around Rs10000/= per month, you may come forward to give a helping hand
to this project. Your remittance of Rs.150, 000/= may be utilized for this
purpose with your permission.
3. To
accommodate the increasing student population we need about 60 classroom
tables and chairs urgently. We shall therefore be glad if arrangements if
any are made for us to have these early. In
connection with the centenary celebrations we have decided to request
Srilankan government to print Rs.5/= commemoration stamps and first day
cover in the name of our College as a mark of honour. We take this
opportunity to express our regards to newly elected office bearers and hope
that you also will continue to render the best as in the past.
